I actually have bought about eight of them through the 12 monthss for wedding presents, college graduation presents, Xmas, etc.
There are 2 main purposes I love this so much. One is the versitility of the warmth keep a watch on. I hate crockpots as a result of all you secure is low and high! Give me a break, who prepare dinners like that?? These have atmospheres from 1-5, nearly as any as a range burner. I can brown my stew or roast on 5 then flip it down to a few or halfway between three & 4 or four depending on how lengthy I want to be far from the home or need it to prepare dinner. I apply it at all times. Over the 12 monthss it has proven put on. Because of my like for this unit, I attempted to replace it, even though the outdated one remains to be functioning. I found that this unit is not available in the 6 qt measurement, it's now a 5 qt. Very disappointing but desirable. I ordered it. Upon receipt I discovered the glass lid didn't match properly. It rocked permitting warmth, steam & moisture to flee...Very bad for transporting. Called the Company and was once despatched a new vessel, assuming mine waa warped. I did not assume the glass lid might be inaccurate. Received vessel (after a 2 week wait). Same problem! Vessel is much extra thinner than unique. Again, I can care for this. Not happy but will care for it. I am VERY VERY upset within the unit on account of the ill matchting lid. I am very sorry I ordered it. Definitely would now not recommended it.
